Complex Single Combat Federation of Russia in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia)

Complex single combat is an applied type of sport combat, created in 2003 on the basis of the most rational techniques and tactics of boxing and kickboxing, wrestling and sambo.

It is an official sport and applied kind of sport in the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, Federal Penitentiary Agency of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation, Internal Forces of the Ministry of Interior of the Russian Federation. In 2009 by the order of the Government of the Russian Federation N695 the complex single combat was approved as a duty and applied sports of the Federal Agency of Bailiffs.

Regional branch of the All-Russia Physical Training and Sports Public Organization Complex Single Combat Federation in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) was officially registered on February 3, 2010 one of the first in Russia. A big enthusiast of the development of the new sport in Yakutia was Andrey A. Kulakovsky, Head of the Federal Agency of Bailiffs in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), Chief Bailiff of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), who became the first Chairperson of the Yakut branch of the CSCF of Russia. After his death in August 2010 they started to hold in Yakutsk annual tournaments in compex single combat in the memory of A. Kulakovsky.

In August 2011 in Yakutsk the Tournament went beyond the borders of the Republic as the teams from the whole Far Eastern Federal Okrug participated in it. The Tournamnet was visited by the Chief Bailiff of the Russian Federation Artur Parfenchikov and the Chairperson of the Complex Single Combat Federation of Russia Oleg Ufimtsev who were received by the Chairperson of the Complex Single Combat Federation in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), the Chief Bailiff of the Republic A. Migunov. the guests highly appreciated the competitions held.

Complex single combat in Yakutia is a young but dynamically developing sport. Among the best fighters of the CSCF Yakut branch is Artur Odilbekov, the World Cup holder in ultimate fighting, champion of Asia and champion of Eurasia and Bashir Gagiev, champion of Russia in complex single combat of 2012, champion of the Spartakiade of FAB of Russia.
